Dominique Therrien (DoT) is a visual artist based in Longueuil, Québec. With a background in theatre, writing, and artistic production, she develops an abstract painting practice in which color, rhythm, and the circulation of forms become a sensitive visual language.
Her work explores the invisible relationships between beings, spaces, and emotions through compositions structured by a network of dynamic lines and vibrant chromatic fields.
Following an early figurative phase with the series Retour en soi, her practice has evolved toward a more intuitive and liberated abstraction. Her current body of work, JOIES, presents moving microcosms where organic and geometric forms interact, evoking trajectories, encounters, and the interconnections that shape human experience.
Alongside her visual arts practice, she is active in the performing arts as the founder and producer of Les Productions Frisket, developing artistic projects for young audiences.
Dominique Therrien continues to expand her practice through exhibition and artistic dissemination projects in Québec and internationally.
